As the year draws to a close, we reflect on all that we’ve achieved together at Misty Acres Farm & Sanctuary. None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our farm family. 2024 has been a year of growth, healing, and new beginnings for the animals in our care. However, as we look ahead to 2025, we know there is still much more to be done. That’s why we’re asking for your support during this critical year-end giving season.

Why Year-End Giving Matters

For many, the holiday season is a time of giving and gratitude. At Misty Acres, it’s no different. Your contributions help us feed, shelter, and provide the specialized care that our animals here need. But these contributions also enable something much more profound: they help us offer these magnificent animals a new chance at life, healing, and happiness.

Whether it’s rehabilitating an injured animal, rescuing one from neglect, or providing therapy for individuals through equine-assisted programs, your donations make it all possible. Without you, none of this important work can continue.

How Your Donation Helps

Every dollar you donate to Misty Acres goes directly towards improving the lives of the animals and individuals that we serve. Here are a few ways how your contributions make a tangible difference:

• $25 covers the cost of a bag of Timothy Pellets to feed one horse for the month.

• $50 covers a Farrier appointment for a horse. Note- our horses must have one Farrier appointment every 6 weeks.

• $100 covers the cost of one hay round bale.

• $200 contributes to our equine-assisted programs, which help children, veterans, and others benefit from the healing power of animals..

• $500 contributes to the cost of all of the maintenance care for one horse for one month.

Your generosity also helps us maintain our facilities, expand our outreach programs, and rescue more animals in need. Your one-time donations are greatly appreciated.

Additionally, giving before December 31st helps us plan for the upcoming year. With your contribution, we can provide our animals with the resources they need to thrive during the colder months and prepare for new arrivals in 2025.
