All of these board members, both governance and advisory, are critical to the success of Misty Acres.

Founder & President
Julie E. Clark, ESMHL
Since Misty Acres Farm was founded in 2015, Julie has worked tirelessly to build and maintain a sanctuary for rescued animals, as well as for all who visit. Over the years, her purpose remained clear: rescue and retirement for the horses that need it most, and sharing the love of horses with the people that need it most.

Board Chair & CFO
Tony Rossi, MBA
Tony is a US Navy Veteran and an MBA with global level financial management experience. He has past experience on the boards of nonprofit and industry associations. A life-long animal lover, he is a natural with the horses and they gravitate to him. His extensive experience in nonprofit and for-profit leadership will help us guide the activities of Misty Acres Farm & Sanctuary.

Board Secretary
Abby Owens
Abby is a long time supporter of the mission of Misty Acres. She and her horse, Money, and now Cash are active members of the daily operations at the farm. She brings 15 years of experience with rescue horses, troubled horses along with farm operations to our Board.

Chad Adkins, BCBA
At Misty Acres Farm & Sanctuary, our Board is advised by Chad Adkins, MA, BCBA. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, he specializes in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which focuses on improving the lives of individuals with developmental and behavioral disorders. Chad has over 10 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. He currently works with children at the Academy for Precision Learning, and he lives in Seattle, WA with his grumbly Lhasa Apso, Brady.

Bill Clark, DVM
At Misty Acres Farm & Sanctuary, our Board is advised by Dr. Bill Clark, DVM, DACVIM - a passionate champion for animal care and welfare. After graduating from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, he completed an internship at Texas A&M University followed by a residency in Cardiology and Interventional Medicine at The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center. He now resides in Seattle, WA with his dog Atlas while practicing as a board-certified veterinary cardiologist at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle.
